Stress Reliever

This is a great way to relieve stress. On an overwhelmingly stressful afternoon a trip to Duploys or any other place that has a high rock to jump off can do wonders.

When you first see the rock you think, "That small little rock? Anybody can jump off of that." But when you climb up and look down at the water you realize it's awfully high. First couple of times you have to just make yourself jump.

You stand on the edge thinking, "I can do this, I will do this, people do it all the time, I will not get hurt." LOL You have to convince yourself to do it. Then your mind goes blank, you step off and away you go.

The thrill!!!!!!!! You have to give a loud long shout ( shouting is half the fun ). You feel the air rushing past your ears. What a feeling!!! Hurtling through space!!! This is the point where your stress and problems just leave.

Then, BOOM, you hit the water. Sudden absolute quietness. With water all around you, it's all quiet. The sudden change from falling through space and rushing air to entering the water where it's all quite gives you a jolt.

You go way deep down into the water, depending how hight the rock was. Gives you time to think. What i mostly think is, "How long will i have to swim upward to reach the top". Lack of oxygen forces you to seek the surface.

When you break the surface the first thing you do is spit out half a gallon of water and blow another half gallon out of your nose. Then you shout "Whooooooooweeeeeeeeee that was fun. Lets do it again."

You do this over and over until you are to tired to climb the rock. (It's over thirty feet high) When you're done make sure you drain your ears, lol, to avoid getting an ear infection.

You come out of the river a new person. Ready to tackle the world. Or at least your school work.

crazy white people. Relieving stress with life threatening feats. Soon you'll be giving a manual on a different stress reliever where you swim in the water and rub the belly of a shark and hurry swim back to shore, and you do it over and over again till you feel better =D

Looks like fun, then again, I don't think I'll ever do that...
