Skating Night

Tonight was skating night. Marlene reserved the skating rink for an hour and a half. I hadn't been on ice for around fifteen years. I must say ice skating is a lot more fun than rollerblading.

But i had to hurt myself. I banged my nose on the ice and got a cut on my nose and a Guinness World Records size nosebleed on top.

It was all part of the adventure. Lots of fun!!!

Vacation

Some of you already know this but "I'm on vacation!"
It's my first vacation in a long time. I'm visiting family in Alberta, Canada.
It's crazy cold out here but there are some benefits of cold weather, like downhill sledding and snowboarding.
I'm posting some videos and pics to show what it's like.

That's me on the sled going downhill.

Some kid doing airtime.

My first time ever snowboarding.

Marlene having a blast.

If I don't post more stuff in the near future then you know I'm to busy having adventures.

And Then

Ok where do i start. I'm still in the land of the living. I have not blogged for a long time because I ....................................................................................! So now i've taken care of those important things lets get on with it.

Last couple weeks of last semester were really hectic. A lot of projects and research papers. I got really stressed out. Anyways that to passed and the good news is i passes all my courses. Even got a couple of good grades. Yipeeee.

Christmas vacation was really boring except for work. I worked at Universal Hardware which was cool. Set up some new computers and a server. Really fixed up their network. Made some $$$$$$$$, almost enough to pay bills.

Social life was non existent. I lived like a hermit except for work. That's what i hated the most of this xmas break. I'd gotten kind of used to hanging with people in Belmopan.

Anyways end of vacation and no classes for me. Really strange feeling that gives me. I'm so used to taking classes, and all of a sudden no more of that. I'm currently doing my internship at UML in Belize City. Yes, believe it or not. Freeze the farmer from back-a -bush is now a city dweller. I am hoping i can get used to this place yet. So far i've been busy working and trying to find decent places to eat.

I'm a little lost. So different from what i'm used to. No familiar people around. Strange eating places. Violent neighborhood. I miss Belmopan.

Ok that was a little self-pity but that to shall pass
